Just poor service

I reported my home alarm being faulty and possibly required a service. An ADT technician was dispatched, serviced the alarm and in so doing, suggested additional beams be installed to provide better protection. This happened on the 16th July. The following day the additional beam was installed and that was the end of our perimeter security. You set the beams and and the alarm goes off at all hours of the night. On the 19th the alarm went off no less than four times. The comment received from the technician is that its trial and error to get it fixed. Well thats not good enough!!! Eight days without security and no less that half a dozen calls to try and get it fixed is a mockery of their slogan "Keeping you, your home and your family safe, always". By the way, i still have no security and it would appear ADT are in no hurry to get it fixed.

The cheek of it all is that i have been invoiced for the service of the alarm - R462 fair enough but also, R3991.90 for the additional beam intalled which has now rendered all seven beams protecting my home as totally useless.

Come on ADT, deliver what you promise and make some sence of that slogan
