I purchased a new car in January 2012, and contacted tracker to let them know that I had sold my previous car and needed the tracker device in my new vehicle as this is a condition on the insurance.

I changed insurance in January 2013 that is not affiliated to Tracker. I requested that Tracker remove the unit and cancel the payment to them, as the insurance that was being cancelled do not cancel with them, they just pay the amount over.

Tracker refuse to cancel, as they say I have a three year contract, even though I have been with them since 2004, with my previous two vehicles registered with them. The explanation is that they opened a new account for me in January 2012 when I purchased my new car, and did not merely transfer the previous account as it was in my husbands name. They told me we cannot both be on the same account, however were from 2004 to end 2011.

They can see that I had two previous vehicles on my husbands account, but insist I need to pay for three years as this is a new contract. They refuse to look at the whole picture and have now deducted a huge amount from my Bank account.

This is shocking and just money grabbing
