Maxidor - never again

I met with a sales consultant on 30/01, with whom I arranged to replace two security doors. He took the measurements and placed the order. I paid the full amount of R8223.39 on 30/01. A week later- they needs to measure the doors again, as the sales consultant is new. He proceeds to measure again and changes the order according to his new measurements. Another week later and still no installation... after phoning and sending e-mails, complaining, suddenly they can come the next day. The installer, Al, arrives the next day on 13/02 to install the doors. He installs one door and then tells me he cannot install the other, as the measurements is incorrect! I have taken leave to be home for them to install... Now, i have really had enough and phone their Customer Service to complian... not that it really helps. On Monday, 18/02, I start phoning again to find out when they will be installing. So ANOTHER day's leave on Tuesday 19/02- door is installed. But very difficult to open, gets stuck easily, only one lock works. I made the biggest mistake ever to purchase from this company. Stay away, what ever you do, use Trellidor etc. So dissapointed! be warned!
