Matrix MX3 Tax logbook is a!

As a new Mercedes Benz buyer in January 2012 I was urged to move to Matrix from Netstar (who I've been a client with for 10 years...). I decided to install the MX3 system mainly for the tax logbook where trips are recorded and can be specified as either business/private via a remote control in the car.
On receiving the vehicle I phoned the call centre to be registered and specified my default trips (business). I was told at this point that everything was now in working order.
I've been getting very annoying sms's during my driving trips, and used the remote religiously during the past year.
NOW: year end and time for the tax logbook. I thought everything was going to be easy as I've been paying for a trip logbook and pressing the button. Oh dear was I wrong.
None of my trips form March 2012 till October was recorded. And the trips from then have no allocation to business or private... The person at the call centre says my remote was never registered and they changed systems etc etc. IE not her problem. She did nothing to try and rectify, did not apologize.
You me into the product, made me pay for a year and then didnt deliver on you product specs. POOR!
