Purchased form Groupon... told these transparent burglar bars arequoted as "Made from Polycarbontae... the strongest thermoplastic in the world, virtually indestructable"
And my bar snapped like a twig when closing the window arm.
Ronald came to take the broken "polycarbonate" for testing and never heard form him again, after repeated calls.
Complained to Groupon for the last YEAR and they have done nothing... except offer a refund.
I do not want a refund I want the promised 'polycarbonate" installed.
Despite the fact they are aware of the inferiority of this so called burglar bar, groupon are still advertising him as a supplier.
So please beware if you have purchased these bars - you have virtually NO window protection.
