Mix Telematics Africa (Matrix Vehicle Tracking)
Outdated System but I still get charged

I got a call from Prashanth Kewalpershad last year August informing me that the tracking system in my vehicle is now outdated and that it does not communicate with there system. They can thus not track my vehicle anymore. He gave me the option of upgrading at a certain cost and or signing of a new 36 month contract. He also informed me that my current contract has expired thus if I do not want to upgrade he can cancel it for me.
According to my memory I asked him to cancel as I do not want to upgrade and commit for a further 36 months. I only realized now in January that the debit order is still going through every month. When I contacted Prashanth Kewalpershad via email he denied the fact that I told him to cancel. He informed me that he has the conversation on record thus I cannot argue with him about it. I requested a copy of this recording but he informed me that he can only supply me with such a copy with a court order. I explained to him that they are taking my money without giving me any service. I am not the one that changed the system to make my unit outdated. I have been a client of Matrix for about 10 years and this is how they now treat me.
