Refusal to assist in a life threatening situation

My neighbour had a severe asthma attack, she was struggling to breathe and convulsing badly, because air was not getting to her brain, she was turning blue in her face and her pulse was rapidly decreasing. We couldn't get through to the emergency services on the 10177 to send an ambulance to us. The ADT patrolman was driving by and I asked for his assistance. He was very helpful and said he would call his switchboard to assist us, but when he did that the person at the switchboard said that they wouldn't help us because we are not one of their clients.

So in a life threatening situation, ADT refuses to help a human in dire need of medical assistance. It was a simple request to use their connections with the emergency medical services to come to our aid. Even a simple request like making a phone call was scoffed at and blatantly refused. So much for looking after people's safety in our community. I will spread the word and cancel my contract with ADT at my office.
