Appalling service by emergency service call centre

I called to request an ambulance and assistance regarding my mother who called me complaining about severe stomach cramps. I informed the lady that I could no longer get hold of my mother and need urgent assistance.

I was informed that an ambulance would not be able to assist or enter the premises if there is no response. In a panic I insisted she send an ambulance irrespective, the lady at the call centre said I was being rude, didn't even inform me if they had a logged a call to the paramedics and simply hung up. I tried the call centre several more times the phone went unanswered. Eventually another lady answered and as I am giving her the address she told me that the person I had spoken to earlier had logged in the call to the paramedics and hung up before I got a word in.

If this is the service that people get in times of an emergency then there will be a lot of fatalities at the hands of the Mogale City Municipality. This is disgraceful and disappointing if one can't depend on the emergency service in times of an emergency then who can one depend on
