I am being billed for a Roadcure product from Altech Netstar that I didn't want in the first place. The telemarketer was extremely pushy and the phone line was very bad but I did on numerous occasions during the conversation make it clear to him that I first wanted to investigate what the product was about before making any commitment and he assured me there would be no deductions. After the telephone conversation I received a SMS to inform me that the product had been activated, where upon I immediately phoned Altech Netstar and cancelled the activation, this was on the 1 October 2013. They assured me it was cancelled. They then regardless deducted R402.61 on the 29 October for the product. When I phoned them again on the 19 November 2013, after I realised what had happened, they could not help me and said that they could see that it was cancelled but first had to investigate and it would take 3-4 days to sort out. The cancellation is clearly on their system, so what must be investigated? I can see this becoming a long and frustrating problem because you have to hang on for a very long time to get through to then and then they give you the run around.
