We bought a new vehicle for my wife in September. Our short terms insurance require that the vehicle be fitted with a tracking system and since my vehicle and my wife's previous car was fitted with netstar systems I again approached them to have the system fitted. I probably should have seen the warning lights when my enquiry went unanswered for almost a week! We nonetheless gave them the benefit of the doubt and had the new system installed on 15 October 2013. On 31 October they deducted an amount far in excess of what the monthly subscription is. 1) We do not even have the account number yet 2) We have not received an invoice so we do not know how this amount was calculated. I understand that we probably have to pay pro-rate for the period in October I am of the opinion that if this is the case then I should also get pro rate discount for the period in September that the account on the previous vehicle was cancelled. I am also of the opinion that this calculation is astronomical and needs to be explained, but despite various attempts from my side, Netstar is just ignoring all my attempts to get answers. Their service is even more corrupt and worse than that of Vodacom.
