A year ago we installed a tracking device into our vehicle for peace of mind and even paid 3 years upfront. The 1st device which was installed had to be replaced within 2 weeks, the 2nd device also gave us problems and at our own costs we had to drive 96 km to have it replaced. We phoned Altech Netstar several times when we were out of the country because we could not track our vehicle or sometimes it shows our vehicle is in the mountains then we have to phone our neighbours just to make sure our vehicle is still parked in front of our house. Last week we decided to see if the internet service is still working on our tracker- the last update was 21 Aug, which means for 3 months the device was not working. If our vehicle gets, our insurance is not going to pay out because Altech Netstar can`t track our vehicle-their system is off. They replaced the device for the 3rd time on Friday, yet another surprise, Altech Netstar cannot track our vehicle, their system is offline, seems like it is always offline. And you always get generic answers when you phone. Are you going to refund me for 3 months for no service. Who is protecting us-the consumer-from no service we have to pay for??
