Disappointment time and time again

I have written a few complaints about ADT and I see I am not alone.
Today my alarm went off, my husband forgot to push his button on his remote before opening the door. ADT responded right away...
The call came through at 16:40pm and low and behold ADT arrived at my house at 15:59pm, this is an hour and twenty minutes later.
My main concern is that we could have been in danger or my house could have been robbed, this then gives whoever all the time they need to run off with our valuables?
The guy who came out to assist me (Lucky) said he has just come on to his shift so he is unable to explain to me why there was such a delay? Could you please answer this for me?
