Overcharged, Still NO Refund

I ordered a security door. The consultant was great until I paid the full amount. Then the installation seemed to drag. Installation was completed however only 2 bars were used in the installation, but I was charged 3.

I simply asked for the amount to be refunded.

Weeks go by and I have to monitor my account after promises that payment will be made. The consultant also rarely gets back to me, I have to keep on phoning. I'm not sure why someone in accounts has not taken over? I was promised a call yesterday and the day before, but nothing. Today, still no call.

I was told yesterday that the problem is, is that the flat bar that was not used in my installation was not returned to the stores, hence I cannot be refunded. I conveyed that this was an internal problem and I should not have to sit with all the follow-up admin to get my moneyed owed back.

In short, quick to take my money and promise service but after payment is made expect nothing back.
