My complaint stretches over a period of 2 yrs... i owe adt R285 for January 2011. i refuse to pay it because they debited my account on 27/12/10 without notifying me that debit order will run earlier. no funds in acc so bank charges me R115.00. sent proof of bank charges and over last 2 yrs have never denied liability, all i wanted was a letter to confirm that I may pay over outstanding R285 less R115 (bank charges). on 20/08/13 i rec sms to say that amount outstanding for TECHNICAL SERVICES and that account will be debited. Note, no amount reflected in sms or date of deduction! I email on 21/08/13 to say that i have no knowledge of technical services and i DO NOT give permission to debit account. receive conf of e-mail and ticket No. call on 22nd speak to Valencia Japhta who says she will escalate email for me .. nothing, cal again 29th, speak to Abbie Brower, says to ignore sms, sent in error. ADT deducts R281.04 on 30th, bank returns as no funds and charges me again R115.00. Sent email earlier on, explaining problem, read but no ticket number this time. called, operator listened to complaint and before she can advise me how they were going to remedy this, call ends... help
