We had Maxidoor come in an install 4 sliding gates, 3 burgular bars and 1 fixed swinging gate at our property in December 2012. The installer hit a snag with the lock for the swinging gate, and since it was too late for him to request a new one on the day, he noted the issue for Maxidor to repair in Jan 2013.
Maxidoor contacted my wife in the 2nd/3rd week of Jan 2013 to request a date and time for the repair. She explicitly mentioned the days our domestic would be on site and that she usually leaves early (1pm).
On 17 Jan 2013, we receive an sms confirming our repair date as the 18th. I called the repairer (Don) and told him that he would have to be there earlyif he wanted to catch the maid. I was told that he does not have the list of work he would do the next day-he would only receive this the next morning. The 18th arrives and Don calls at 11:30am saying that he would be leaving his current installation in 1 hour - I then reminded him of the 1pm cut off time. Never heard from him again.

Until today - the guy just pitches up without letting me know. I'm forced to leave work as the maid does not have the keys to open the gate in question. What kind of service is that???
