Shameful withdrawal of longstanding arrangement

ADT new branch manager Russell Haresign and Community Development Manager Pieter Venter - decided to terminate a long-standing relationship of reciprocity that existed between ADT and Stepping Stones pre-primary school. 10 years ago when they were seeking to gain brand presence in Parkmore we were approached to assist in encouraging families to switch to ADT - which we did. They also branded our school property with ADT marketing boards and actively engaged with our parent community. Now that they have brand dominance in the area, they feel that we are of no further use to them, so this morning the guard that they gave us at a zero rate - was withdrawn 15 minutes after we indicated our extreme disappointment at them for changing the terms of agreement and that we would be gaining a better offer from 24/7 from end of August 2013. This childish and rash act placed a community of children at risk and we were compelled to exercise steps to secure our children and the school. Only after senior manager Rupert Bezuidenhout was informed did anything occur. We are shocked and disgusted at the short-sighted and harebrained steps taken by these two ADT managers - Russell and Pieter - SHAME!!!
