Ridiculous Premium of R478.50Ppm 6 years late

My husband, Dr Julian Bassin, passed away 2 weeks ago and I began an inventory of his debit orders.

We have had Tracker fitted to our car since 2007, the car is now 7 years old and worth R140 000. I picked up that Tracker has been deducting R478.50 monthly for the tracking system installed all those years ago, escalating annually.

I called their customer service centre and was informed that I should have known to call to either cancel the policy or to negotiate a lower rate at the 3 year period - nearly 4 years ago.

I emailed Tracker too and after waiting 2 days for a response I decided to make the courtesy call to demand a refund from the date of that 3 year option.

I was put through to Alida Pretorius, I told her I wanted a refund for the last 3 or so years, having paid almost R6000 annually, she told me there won't be any refunds but they are offering to lower my premiums!

How many people are there like my late husband, who are just accepting that a big company like this is ethical and honest? They have in fact inflated their premiums as the value of the car depreciates?

Please stop them this unethical company from such unfair practices.
