I have in the past had some terrible service from ADT security. The alarm system that they installed, new and was faulty and caused many false alarms. They then billed us extra for too many false alarms after their own technicians were unable to sort their poor installation out. This was eventually rectified when one of their technicians discovered the poor workmanship of his colleagues and corrected it - but we're talking about a period of 4 months to sort these issues out! They have yet to refund us for their over-billing.
My greatest complaint during this time was that their call centre was absolutely terrible - it would often take 30 minutes to half an hour to get a call or a patrol car to show up - and it was evident that it was the fault of the call centre as the patrol teams are just down the road. The call centre staff were permanently making ridiculous excuses and when their supervisors were questioned the responses contradicted on another 0- they were blatantly and repeatedly lying to cover up their ineptitude. I took this up with ADT at the time and was assured that this would not happen again.

It did, they took 10 minutes just to call today! Thats too long!
