Be careful and read terms and conditions... About 6 months ago I had an attempted break in and got advised to install Beams around the house for extra protection. These beams when triggered will alarm even before an intruder can enter ones home... These newly installed beams have not been performing to satisfaction due to TECHNICAL issues. I have had it reported and requested technical support on numerous occasions. To cut to the chase... I've been charged an extra R 1100 deducted via debit order... due to ' excessive call out of armed response officers ' upon alarm trigger due to faulty beams... This is on top of my monthly payment for monitoring and armed response. ADT did not investigate the matter or contact me to besides the letter I got to say I'll be charged. I've responded to their email a week ago and no response from ADT at all but I guess they have their R1100 and I'm still stuck with my new but faulty system. I won't even touch on their BAD customer service I have to endure on a weekly basis. I've lost count of all my attempts to get my ADT matters resolved. So much for "always there"
