Alarm Faulty - Wont Fix

Our alarm system (rented from ADT) has been making beeping sounds every 10 seconds for the past 18 hours. The beeping cannot be turned off for longer than 5 minutes. This continues throughout the night and upon calling ADT we were told firstly that we should wait and it will reset itself (it doesnt). Secondly that the fault is due to the previous owners (it's not). They try to make up every excuse under the sun to avoid service! Eventually they admitted that A TECHNICIAN CANNOT COME OUT FOR 3 DAYS!!! The alarm is faulty since it thinks we have a phone line and cannot dial out, but ADT REPLACED THE PHONE WITH A RADIO A YEAR AGO!
We have had this problem (of beeping) before when the battery was faulty and this was replaced also only after 24 hours and of ADT making excuses to avoid fixing. THE BEEPING KEEPS US AWAKE AT NIGHT SINCE THE KEYPAD IS IN OUR ROOM!!! SO WE HAVE TO PUT UP WITH BEEPING EVERY 10 SECONDS FOR THE NEXT 36 HOURS!!!???
I asked to be put through to the useless call centre's supervisor and was put on hold until I eventually hung up 20 minutes later.
ADT IS COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY USELESS!
AVOID THESE LIKE THE PLAGUE!
