I had a alarm system monitored by Chubb for my business.one day on checking my system that they were not picking up my signal. On further enquirey I was told Chubb had not received a signal from me in about 14 MONTHS, surely any monitored system like this should have informed me that they were not receiving anything. They even sent me a printout, it was not working for /- 14 months.
It was all blamed on me, I should have checked it they ducked and dived. The battery, mine, driving their transmitter was found to be faulty. Got away from them as fast as possible, cause as far as I am concerned companys like that don't deserve customers.
In that period of time I payed them approx R4800.00 in monthly contributions, that's service for you. People monitoring the computer screen couldn't pick up this problem, actually says on the printout words to the effect of NO SIGNAL.Welkom Chubb said sorry sir nothing we can do. I changed to LG Security, who phone every week to check the system. No that's service.
