I called ADT on 26/4/13 to query a note that had been left at my gate claiming my alarm had gone off. NO-ONE had called me to find out if all was ok, etc and my keypad was not flashing when I had gotten home. Tsidi, the lady I spoke to at ADT told me that they could not access the property because according to their system they had to "jump the fence". What utter RUBBISH seeing as ADT had insisted we buy a special lock (when we signed up) so that they could have 1 key to access the property. Anyway, I got annoyed with this lady and her attitude and I cancelled my contract with ADT on 26 April 2013. Since then I have not heard from them. Nobody has called to find out why I cancelled my contract. I have called their call centre on 086 12 12 400 on numerous occasions trying to get someone to tell me when they are coming to remove their radio, etc but no-one is interested. I called the West Rand Branch and spoke to Mr Ernie Atkins who told me thi was unacceptable and that he would personally look into the matter and come back to me. To date - nothing. As a last resort I called and left a message for Mr Steven Botha with Yolandi at the headoffice. STILL WAITING... ADT - TOTALLY USELESS
