ADT-BAD SERVICE

I am very unhappy with my Armed Response service from ADT. I have a number of complaints about them.

The First is their slow response times. I was burgled last year and ADT arrived 10 minutes after activation. This despite the fact that they normally park in the veld opposite my house and are always in the area.

The cherry on top for me is that I have just heard from a reliable source that ADT are changing their reaction officers firearms. They have previously used GLOCK 17's (a great choice holding 17 rounds in the magazine) to taurus .38 special revolvers which hold 5 bullets! This is apparently for some stupid health and safety reason coming from the USA. Now I feel completely unprotected by ADT with a 5 shot revolver going up against gangs of home invaders armed with semi auto rifles and handguns.

I feel ADT can no longer look after my safety and have decided to cancel my contract. This is proving impossible without paying the remainder of the contract.

This seems unfair considering the service I receive. I can therefore not afford to change to a proper armed response and am stuck with ADT until my contract expires. lets hope I have no need for them!
