We are trying to cancel our contract with ADT, we are also well aware of the CPA and the requirements regarding early cancellation thereof. My husband first made contact with ADT 08.04.2013, where they requested an email be sent, which was done, an automated email was received advising that they had received our email and the usual story of "we are experiencing a high volume mails" was given. On the 17.04.2013 we again followed up on the email and received no response. Again a follow up email was sent 06.05.2013 and hence the complaint on Hello Peter. Our contract ends July and we have been trying since April to get an early cancellation figure but it seems that no one there actually wants to provide a proper service.
