False advertising, no call centre service

My services where suspende due to late payment- my bad. I had not received my monthly statement, and forgot to pay. On sunday 7/04/23 I woke up to an sms saying services had been suspended. I went on sunday, and paid an amount in excess of what I owed, plus the reconnection fee, believing reconnection was automatic. On monday I phoned the call centre to see why i had not been reconnected. The prerecording told me I had to wait 24 hours as I paid at a checkers... Phoned the call centre again multiple times after the 24 hours, only to hold for 30 minutes or more with no answer... so today (Tuesday) I sent the proof of payment to [Email Removed] only to receive an automated response saying my query would be responded to in 24 hours. Why did I pay the R50 reconnection fee. I have now been without T.V for 48 hours (which I have paid for, and not a single multichoice employee has spoken to me! My account has always been paid in advance. DSTV should change their adds to, "reconection is automatic- within a week or so, with a of a lot of effort from your side and none from ours."
