Overdeduct & then take their time refunding

Newly activated subscription and the HD Premium at that so R695 pm is what I will be paying.
Account activated and the lady told me to pay the pro-rata premium in manually on the 26th March as they would only be deducting the premium that day. So on the 24th March I paid the R402.16 in manually.
To my surprise, a debit order of over R1078.04 is deducted from my account!! Upon phoning on the 26th March @ 09H00, I spoke to Thando who advised me that they overdeducted and R402.16 will be refunded to my account within 48 hrs. On the 3rd April I phoned Multichoice again as the refund was still not appearing in my account. This time Phumeza told me that she would have to do the journal as it did not go through and this would take another 7-10 days for my refund to effect. I told her that Thando obviously never processed it and she tells me no, it was done but is pending?? They are quick to bill you interest for late payments nowadays but when they owe you it's a "hurry up and wait" to be refunded... Shocking that nobody can expedite a refund when they are at fault!!! Time spent on phone call = 32minutes...
