Incompetence, pathetic and no service

I have recently returned to the Midrand area and have always had good service from Blockbusters Video in the past. However on returning after a few years out of the area I decided to start renting dvd's again. The new releases are so badly scratched and full of left over food remnants and sticky that even after the dvd's are buffed by a so called assistant one is still not able to view them.

Secondly I have been charged R27.00 for a late return which I dropped off in the box at the crack of dawn and after discussion still the fine has not been removed. However I get to take out movies. The last straw happened this past weekend when I was given two of the same movies. Demoted x 2. I phoned them on the Saturday to inform them and asked them to allow me to see the movie I originally wanted on Sunday. This I can say was a successful venture however when I returned the movie on Monday at 9.00am I was told that I am a day late and again have to pay a fine. Kithewe, who tried to assist, made it out as if "whats the problem" with me. Truly I cannot express my disappointment, anger and frustration at this incompetent and unprofessional behavior. A truly pathetic establishment.
