MANUFACTURER DEFECT

I had recently purchased a SD PVR from Cash Crusaders, immediately went to MC in Kempton Park to test the unit, and activate services. PVR was tested for functionality and worked fine. I also took out decoder insurance. After a few days, the decoder gave a Heating Warning and said that the HDD had failed! All over fourms they call the SD PVR a furnace and people have to run the deocer without the cover.. I was dumbfounded, on researching, I found out that there was a problem with the original fans that were in the SD PVRs and Dstv was replacing them with LARGER ones, as the original was not able to cool the internals of the PVR sufficiently. I have the model of the fan and it is OUTRAGEOUS, as to how they expected such a small fan to cool down the Hard drive and the decoder satellite tuners!!! Technical Experts agree that this fan CANNOT cool down the PVR. THIS IS A MANUFACTURER DEFECT and will NOT ACCEPT any financial loss!!! Accorind to the NEW CPA this is my right. It can be proven beyond reasonable doubt that this fan CANNOT work to cool the temps inside the PVR. I will lay a case to the Consumer Protection Ombudsman. I will not accept this as its not due to my negligence.
