The Sands
Complaint- Rude employees

I was at The Sands on Saturday the 23rd February & accidentaly dropped my spectacles on the floor by the bar area. I only noticed when I needed to use them to drive (which was about 30 minutes after I'd dropped them). I went back & asked the cleaning staff who were at the bar- noone responded. After I asked for help for the third time one of them told me to go to the office-I had to ask where this was located, after several minutes one of the "bar tendors" escourted me to the general area of the kitchen then told me to " go through there & then you will see it". A lady called Precious told me to go back to the bar & ask the cleaning staff & carried on conversing with the kitchen staff, during this conversation one of the male staff members told me in a threatening manner to just go & buy new ones & stop being a bother. I went back to the bar & asked to be shown the rubbish area because I thought it was recently desposed of so couldn't be under too much rubble. The ladies informed me that I would not find the spectacles & there was no point looking.
All I expected was some attention, a good attitude & at least someone taking my details "just in case". Nice venue but try & avoid it!
