On the 28th December 2012 i requested to cancel my DSTV contract with Multichoice, which was done well in time before my debit order was due. I was asked to let the payment go through and they will refund me. On a few occasions phoning the call centre, i was told different stories from different people in the call centre why the delay of the refunds, and one of them was for me to send my ID, banking details and statement, proof of address which i complied with, then i was told it was rejected because the refunds did not match, then i was told they will lodge another journal. Up untill this day 24th Feb 2013, i cant get any answer regarding my refunds. One story leads to another story and you cannot speak to the supervisor or any senior staff. I at least phone about four times to find out about my refunds. I was also told to ask the bank to reverse the debit order, after seven weeks of the debit order been paid.
