Downgraded from premium to compact in August 2013, removed functionalities like HD in order to make the dish more affordable. Stood in line for more than 30 minutes at the Maponya mall DSTV store, after confirming that I am indeed on Compact and I will be paying far less I left it at that. Fast forward to January 2014, I call the call center to arrange payment from debit order to manual and I am assured that it has been taken care of. A week later I call the company again and to my surprise I now owe R690.00, after much arguing I ask for the supervisor, without taking my call the super advises the consultant that I must pay R282 not R690. I then ask how this is as I have been paying R342.72 from August last year? Consultants answers that my HD was not switched off at their end as per my request and I have been paying for a service that I do not have on my dish adding up to around R300 since, the best part was that the consultant cannot help me over the phone I have to go stand in line again to sort this out at the mall, great service DSTV!! if it was not for you monopolising PSL soccer I would have cancelled this long ago and went for a better product, please sort this out asap!!!
