My multi choice subscription fee was paid by debit until I called in and asked to stop the debit, of which I received an sms that confirmed that the debit had been stopped, however, my account was still debited and the debit bounced, as a result there were charges imposed due to a bounce debit. I called in at multi-choice and spoke to different consultants and asked for them to reimburse the funds charged by the bank as it was not my fault, the agent advised me I called in after the cut off date hence the debit went through, however when I initially called in to ask for the debit to be stopped no one advised me of such 'cut off dates' and why did I receive and sms confirming that th debit was stopped? One of the agents escalated the matter to her superior and they advised me I must send a copy of the bank statement to show the charges so they could refund, however no one cared to even check the statement that I sent because no one got back to me. Can I have the charges reimbursed! Also, I spent lots of money calling in and faxing the bank statement, I waited in quees to speak to the consultants when no one even cared to help me, I spent more than R100 trying to get assistance by ca
