They took me off direct debit and only told me three months later and then told me i did not pay them. I said to them i have no evidence that one of my direct debits has been returned (and i sent them my bank statements to show them) and they came back with the attitude of ' you have to pay 3 months's payments and the connection fee. I told them that we must come to some arrangement (after spending more than a hour on the phone) as they are charging me extra but after numerous emails they just stuck to their guns and said 'pay this amount and that's it'
if big companies like this can bully the individual then there is something wrong with our consumer protection act
