Don't buy HD PVR if you enjoy channels like KICC

DSTV last response to my complaint was that they don't restrict public broadcasters on the HD PVR. Well I have tried to access public channels such as CTV, KICC, OMEGA and others on the HDPVR you cannot access them. Their other decoders do allow for this. But their expensive HD PVRdecoders are designed not to allow this service. The extra view decoder only allows few public broadcasts. Why create an expensive decoder only to offer limited service while the cheaper decoders allow access to more public view channels. This is DSTV restricting access to popular public channels such as chosen. Now I have an expensive decoder totally dissatisfied because I am limited to what DSTV thinks I should only watch. Don't buy PVR If you value watching LoveWorld, or ACB or other public broadcasters available on old decoders. DSTV does not want you to watch them using their expensive HDPVR stick to your normal decoder instead and watch more channels.
