I received a mail message telling me that I owe R503.31 to multichoice and according to my knowledge I have been in credit with them, so I called them up on the 22/11/13 for info as to why I owe that amount, I spoke to a lady by the name of Thembilithle (or if that is her real name) she advised me that there was a system error and for the month of November I just need to pay the amount of R157 and all will be in order and going forward I will pay my usual subscription, I made sure I was clear on that and we concluded, I ASKED for a reference number for the call 145712724 (if that is an actual reference). on the 1st of December my account was suspended and the mail message states that I still owe R503.31 AND re-connection fee, I feel this is very unacceptable and also daylight. I am one of those fortunate customers that pay via EFT and not debit order I can only imagine what is actually going on with the debits, I am NOT prepared to pay what multichoice is asking as that is not a true amount and definitely not the re-connection fee .more investigation need to follow with this complaint as there thousands if customers that are getting robbed by multichoice, please help
