Failure ot deliver on Service Commitments

I am a premium DSTV Subscriber with additional payment for the HD Service offering.

On numerous occasions in the past I have experienced signal loss on Channel 211. Specifically when popular live sporting events are broadcast. The channel will function perfectly well 99% of the time but whenever a big Rugby event is on, the signal mysteriously stops working, and I am forced to watch the game on SD channels.

I have tested the installation at my premises as well as the decoders, it is not due to weather or any other standard technical errors, as all the other HD and SD channels function perfectly well during this time. Amazingly as soon as the game ends, signal is restored.

I have called in the call centre on numerous occasions, often waiting in excess of 30 minutes before someone answers and then tells me it's a client error and not their fault.

I again experienced this problem last night while watching the SA v. Scotland game.

I am fedup with this and expect corrective action with immediate effect as I am paying for this service.
