On 29 August I noticed that some of the channels on my DSTV is not working.

Assuming it is temporary I tried to access my Entertainment channels and box office and soon discovered that it is also not working.

The next day I phoned DSTV and the call centre agent made assumptions, I asked him to please give me a chance to explain and listen to what I have to say. He was extremely rude and in the 2nd sentence just transferred me to another lady.

She was great and assisted me to test the signal strength, to swop the cables again, and test again. There was nothing wrong with my signal. She asked me not to switch the cables back and she will resend my box office and entertainment channels, and that it all should work in 48 hours. She didnt know why some of my channels didnt worked and escalated the query, promising that someone will contact me the next day.

Naturally this didnt happen. I had guest over to braai and watch rugby and guess what, could watch that channel. Cost me a fortune to take everyone out. Aside from that, I cant watch any of my shows that I regularly watch, but as clockwork my debit orders went off for the full amount although I had zero use of my decode
