Does Anyone at Multicho know what they are doing??

My elderly parents have been watching Channel 430 on DSTV for the past 10 years, for which they are paying R 280 odd per year.
Yesterday they received an error 16 so I contacted Multichoice

The consultant told me that they are on an easy view package and although there was an amount of R 12.87 in arrears (cannot imagine how as they pay annually) this was not the reason for the suspension. She said she would reset the signal and all should be fine.

It wasn't. So I contacted them again and, as happens, I got through to a different consultant who told me that Easyview does not include 430 and they would have to upgrade to the full package.

Are they crazy??? R 620 per month to watch the one and ONLY channel they have been viewing for 10 years??

So how have they been watching it all these years, I ask.

Look up you records, say I.

Our records only go back to 2009.

Fine, I say. and what package were they on since 2009?

Easy view says consultant.

So what has changed, I ask

Don't know says consultant.

With all the staff and technology is there anyone at multichoice with the competence to understand and resolve the issue??
