Cresta Ster-kinekor Foyer for Ear Damage

My partner and I unfortunately attended the evening movie screening at your Cresta Ster-kinekor centre last night. In spite of the construction going on and the quite dusty atmosphere at your centre at the moment we attended the 8pm movie.

Upon leaving the movie around 10pm the noise when exiting the actual cinema into the movie foyer was extremely loud. The noise was coming from some drilling taking place on the floor near the exit above us. We had to take the escalators up to the next floor and walk directly pass this drilling which was now unbearable and hurt our ears. We had to block our ears with our fingers whilst walking pass the drilling. Thankfully the operators of the drills had ear protection. We, and the other workers around them, were not so lucky.

I arrived home after exiting the cinema last night with ringing in my ears (tinnitus) which is still affecting me this morning.

With the abundance of other shopping centres and movie houses in the area, my partner and I will not be using the cresta centre and more especially the movies at the centre. We will be encouraging everyone else we know to do the same.
