My partner and I went to Cresta Ster Kinekor last night on a date to see The Hobbit. Initially the booking was done perfectly online and collecting the tickets were very easy, thank you. Getting something to drink was a little slow and perhaps they could have more people helping customers.

We entered the dark cinema and everything started out fine, then, we weren't late and the previews just started. The movie started which was also great as we were looking forward to it. 30min into the movie it seemed like the 3D was faulty, thereafter the sound went funny and then... nothing! The manager on duty came into the cinema and advised that they had a problem with almost all the projectors!!! What? Seriously? We couldn't finish our movie and even though we got a refund on our tickets it just wasn't good enough! What about the treats of R150?

We're their machines not serviced? How can an entertainment company let this happen. This is shocking to say the least. When we eventually left, I noticed the seats were torn! G11&12!

We will not be returning to Cresta for movies again and if it weren't for Ster Kinekor being part of Vitality, we probably wouldn't return to Ster Kinekor!
