I have to replace my DSTV decoder for 2nd time in 8 weeks. Agency in PTA does not have stock and might have stock available in 8 days. Lodge complaint with Multichoice via web and received reply I must drive to their branch in Randburg where they will sort me out. Problem is why should I drive to Randburg if it is a problem with the local agency in PTA not carrying enough stock. Surely they should make the effort in sourcing spares and making it available to the client. What really gets me is the fact that they have the monopoly and is arrogant in servicing their client. Sorry this is the procedure and you WILL ADHERE.

I want to run a campaign and get Multichoice clients to start boycotting the service provider. If we can get a couple of thousand to stop their subcsriptions we will hurt them financially. This is the only way they will learn. I am sure there are plenty customers who have similar experiences and don't know what to do. Let's stand together and take them on.

I have to take time from my business to go and fetch the replacement which is by the way a refurbished item and not new. What about my hourly fee and km costs. Who will cover this costs?
