Call Centre not able to assist

Multichoice call centre, Andre Dickson, was not able to resolve a technical problem with my SD decoder and insisted that the problem is on my side. Cabling was stated as the problem, even though no one came into contact with the cables. This problem is recurring and does come right on its own from time to time, but according to Dickson the cables are to be blamed. That was explained to Dickson as nonsensical, but to no avail. The problem is mine and Multichoice has shown no willingness to identify the cause, as long as they get paid. When I asked if I still have to pay the subscription for the period that the service was not rendered, I was shocked at the response.
The general attitude of Dickson was negative from the outset and as client I was lectured to about the technical aspects in a very irritating and condescending manner.
I whish to air my extreme dissatisfaction with the poor attitude displayed and the fact that the issue is yet to be resolved, whilst I am paying for the full service.
There is no MAGIC left at Multichoice!
