I have been trying to call the DSTV call centre to upgrade my package for the last week. I have tried almost every day at multiple times ranging from early in the morning till 22h30 at night. I have been caller number 25- around ninety each time. I have held on the line for long periods and my position in the queue has not changed at all. This is not an occasional spike. If your call centre is this busy should you not have more people handling incoming calls? This has to be the worst call centre I have ever come accross. It takes at least one and half minutes for you to get to the point where you are actually put on hold to wait for a consultant while listening to messages that I do not apply to the purpose of my call. I even sms'ed EXTRA to 32445 on 4 July 2013 . I only got a call back on 11 July. The call was cut off after a short while and the consultant didnt bother to call me back. Is someone actually monitoring this call centre? Each day around 7 pm i get a System busy message calling both the numbers for Johannesburg. I am calling you to give you more business and cant get through. What if I wanted to cancel my service... it would be impossible with this situation.
