Uniformity of volume on channels and ads

Can you please make the volume on ads, programmes and channels uniform, some channels have higher volume than others and ads are always ridiculously loud and you have to get the remote at night to lower the volume. I understand the strategy of making it a bit louder but its annoying at this level, always wakes up the kids in the room. Uniformity please. Thanks
