I have recently purchased a PVR decorder from a friend and when I called in to register the PVR, they told me that the previous owner needed to call in and de-activate it. That was done and we were assured that it was de-activated. We were not told that a name change needed to be done and that they required the owners ID number etc. When I called in again they still could not help me. I wait for at least 15 minutes a time to get through to the call centre. I called again today and now the system is down and they cant do anything. I pay alot of money to dstv on a monthly basis to watch and repeats and now the system is down and after 1 week I still don't have PVR!!! Their customer service is pathetic and useless.
