Bad Reception when overcast or drizzle

No Response after 2 weeks (CASE NUMBER: 3529812).

Dstv installed December 2012. Since then we had good weather and no issues until now. Due to the start of winter we have been experiencing rainfall, overcast weather, suddenly start to experience bad signal quality and signal strength which drops to 0% when the weather is overcast or even with a light drizzle. I contacted the Dstv Call Centre and the Supervisor (Malome) tells me this is the norm for all Dstv subscribers. I disagree with this as I spoke to friends with Dstv subscription in the same area with no receptions issues.

I do some research online and came across the Dstv website: You should not experience any problems with your signal if the sky is overcast of if there is drizzle or normal rainfall

This means the accredited installer Dstv appointed never did a proper installation, so we contact the installer (WF Digital) which they want to charge us for a job they should have done correctly first time round. I refuse to pay to rectify the problem since the issue would not have occurred if installation where done right

As a paying Dstv customer I expect to receive the quality service which I deserve as a paying consumer!
