I made a paymenof R1614.67 on my DSTV account via internet transfer on 28 March 2013. E-mailed my proof of payment and was told that it would be updated immediately on my account. Despite numerous efforts to get hold of multi-choice still my query was not resolved. I gave them a call three months later and the balance read as it should R625 due. But on 28 May I received a mail message informing me to pay R2300 or else my services would be disconnected. I gave the call centre a call once again and informed them that the balance should read that amount less the amount of money which was transferred on 28 March excluded a re-connection fee of R50. As a result my services are disconnectsmd and have no access to a call centre agent but get a pre-recorded message demanding that I pay the entire amount in full. Now I know that paying the requested amount will leave me in a fruitless chase of cat and mouse trying to recover my R1614.67.
