TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP OF DECODER

Me and my husband is loyal customers of DSTV for the past 6 years. We have had endless problems with our biling, but every time I phone and they tel me I owe this much, I go and I pay that amount. About a year ago due to financial difficulties, we disconnected the DSTV with an outstanding balance of R200 od rand. I paid the outstanding amount whereby they confirmed receipt of payment and closed the online account as well as the current account. Recently we decided to reconnect but on a much less expensive package whereby they just informed me that I had to pay R811. in order to have the DSTV connected. I told them that I paid up the account and that was no service for the past year what was I paying for where they just said that is what I owe. If I want to be reconnected, i need to pay. Whereby I decided to do a transfer of ownership from my husbands name to my name. Upon my phone call to do so, they rudely informed me that they refuse to transfer the decoder unless we pay the R811. Just because they hold the manopoly I really dont think we should allow any company to blatantly steel just because they think they can. How much have they just because they can???
