Qulity of movie

On Friday 19 May my 3 sons and I went to CineCentre at the Mall@Reds to watch the 17h45 screening of Oblivion.

When the movie started the picture was half on the side walls of the theatre. Through the entire screening there were scratches on the movie which resulted in constant black vertical lines on the screen, you could also see dust and fluff on the right hand side of the screen. Added to this the audio had constant distortion, sounded tinny with no base plus distortion.

I complained to the "manager", they did manage to correct the focusing that at least the whole picture was on the screen and not on the walls. As for the rest it was just a shrug of the shoulders, probably hoping I would just shut up.

It was like watching a rented 16mm film in the 70's. Added to all of the above It did not look like the theatre had been cleaned all day with papers and what looked like spilt popcorn all over the floors.

As consumers we pay good money to see a top quality movie, what they presented that evening is utterly disgusting.
