Picture & Sound of movie not up to standard

I went to watch a movie called Temptations by Tyler Perry. The picture was of a bad quality as if it was zoomed in. The top heads of the characters were cut on top of the screen, sound was like I am listening to my car radio. The funny thing is that no one seemed to complain in the movie theater. I cannot believe that they will let a movie of that quality play in their theater. I expected more from a movie theater since I have paid my hard earned money to watch the movie. I do not know if anyone has experienced the same problem at that movie place, it was Cine 2.
